On September 24th, thousands of people took part in the KOD demonstration in Warsaw. „One Poland / Enough Divisions“ was a call for unity among the Polish society, which has been broken up in the last months, divided by two different political opinions (pro and against the government). It was also a protest against making Polish culture and history a political tool by the ruling conservative party Law and Justice (PiS), which censors art and uses our common history to create „facts“ according it its agenda. Other issues presented were problems with chaotic educational reform approved by the Polish government, women’s rights threatened by the proposed anti-abortion bill and destruction of the Constitutional Tribunal.
